Walla Walla Dairymen Hike Milk Prices

Facing the rising costs of animal feed, local milk dealers met to establish a new, higher price schedule for the city.

A meeting of a number of Walla Walla dairymen and milk dealers was held yesterday afternoon at the office of J. M. Douglass, resulting in a new schedule of prices being put into effect as follows: Pint, $1.25; quart, $2 and gallon $8. Prices charged by some dairymen have been somewhat lower than the new schedule. The action was taken owing to the high price of feed.

“The action was taken owing to the high price of feed.”
