A Tough Stretch of Vacations

A local family faces health trouble for the second year in a row after returning from their trip, leading to a grim joke about the dangers of time off.

Upon their return from their vacation trip last week, Mr. and Mrs. William Van Hoy found it necessary to take their little son to the Pasco hospital for treatment for a few days. Last year it was Mr. Van Hoy himself who had to go to the hospital immediately upon his return from his vacation for an appendicitis operation, and Bill says he is beginning to lose his enthusiasm for these vacation trips.

“Bill says he is beginning to lose his enthusiasm for these vacation trips.”
