Neighborhood Fights Hospital Plans

Residents of Pacific Heights rally against the proposed site for contagious disease wards near the county hospital.

Pacific Heights residents voiced loud and vigorous protest Saturday night at a public meeting against the proposed contagious hospitals to be erected at the county hospital. A petition was prepared and will be presented to the county commissioners against the plan. A remonstrance will also be sent to the city council this week declaiming against the action of the councilman who went before the county commissioners and induced them to vote for the plan of contagion cottages at the county site.
