Pasco Opens Municipal Plunge

The City Council takes over a private concrete pool to provide free summer recreation for residents.

The Pasco city council has fitted up a free municipal bathing pool on Third avenue, between Clark and Bonneville streets. The concrete pool was already built, having been built as a private enterprise some years ago. A fence around the plunge and dressing rooms have been built by the city and the plunge was opened to the city this week. Two afternoons each week are set aside for the exclusive use of the women. Adults only are permitted to use the pool after 6 o’clock in the evening and no person is allowed to bathe after 11 o’clock at night.

“Two afternoons each week are set aside for the exclusive use of the women.”
