A $100 Bounty for the Tail-Dockers of Grand Forks

A local property owner vows to 'make it hot' for the culprits who maimed his horses during a neighborhood dance.

J. C. Fairfield would like to catch the individuals who docked the tails of two of his horses last Saturday night, while the dance was going on at his place at Grand Forks. He says he will give $100 reward to any one furnishing evidence sufficient to secure the arrest and conviction of the culprits. He will make it hot for the dockers.

“He will make it hot for the dockers.”
