The Indignation at the Oiled Road

Citizens hold an 'indignation meeting' to condemn the poor state of the road between Finley and Kennewick and the officials responsible for its maintenance.

A considerable portion of the Grange meeting last Saturday night might be termed an indignation meeting over the condition of the oiled road between Finley and Kennewick. The speakers were not at all complimentary either to the road, or the county officials in charge of its construction and maintenance, and it was unanimously agreed that a committee be appointed to take the matter up with the proper officials. We sincerely hope that they will be able to stir something up.

“The speakers were not at all complimentary either to the road, or the county officials in charge of its construction and maintenance.”
