Stalled Bribery Investigation Still Looms Over Council

A special committee delays its report on allegations of bribery regarding an independent telephone franchise.

No report was made to the city council last night by the special committee appointed to investigate the bribery charges in connection with the granting of a franchise to Frank Mortimer for an independent telephone system.
