New Apartment Block Planned for South C Street

The 'Skookum' Smith property is changing hands to make way for a modern apartment building with a view of the bay.

The 'Skookum' Smith place at 421 South C St., owned by Mr. Temple of Seattle, was sold yesterday by Charles Hiteshue to Herbert B. Wilson of Fairbanks, Alaska. The latter will erect a fine apartment house on the site this summer, according to present plans. The property is 130x110 feet in dimensions, and has a fine view of the bay.

“The latter will erect a fine apartment house on the site this summer.”
