The Team Came Down Without Its Driver

A body found on Wenatchee Mountain was believed to be eighteen months old; two men had been seen with a team, but only one reached Ellensburg.

The body of a murdered man was found on Wenatchee Mountain last week with a bullet hole in the head. The corpse was that of a man about 40 years old, with black hair. It is supposed that the crime was committed eighteen months ago. Two men with a team were seen on Wenatchee Mountain, but only one drove the team to Ellensburg. There he abandoned the horses and left the country.
