The Herald Editor Arrested in School Board Libel Feud

A simmering local dispute between Aberdeen's newspaper and the school board has escalated into a criminal charge.

The Herald libel suit has taken a new turn. This morning, the editor of the Herald was placed under arrest on a charge of criminal libel. We have not yet been able to ascertain definitely upon whose information, but we are informed that it is the same old trouble with the school directors. We hope the bottom of this matter will be reached before it is dropped.
