The Unsanitary Mystery of Wilson Creek

Town residents are fouling the local water supply by dumping horse carcasses near the public school.

Some thoughtless person or persons have been throwing bones and scraps of horses in Wilson creek up above the public school building. It is presumably someone training dogs for Alaska, and they take this means of disposing of the refuse. They are perhaps not aware that many families use this water, and even if they did not such things should not be allowed, for besides creating an offensive odor it breeds disease.

“It is presumably some one training dogs for Alaska, and they take this means of disposing of the refuse.”
