The story, cleaned up

A cleaned-up reading of the newspaper page: spelling and layout repaired, one story lifted off a crowded page. It follows the original closely but it is not a transcription. The original page is below; read it if a detail matters.

EVERETT—A dog poisoner has been spreading havoc among canine pets in the south end of the city. Two of the victims were owned by Chief of Police T. E. Headlee, who offers a $50 reward for information leading to the arrest of the offender. Another of the dogs poisoned was a champion bull. John Otto and W. C. Paest are among others reporting loss of their dogs.
